This Weekend...

Practice gratitude.

Before you go running away because I'm about to go off on a hippie "world peace" rant... I am not advocating complacency. I think we should always strive to be a better version of ourselves. That is the driving force behind almost everything I do in my life. 

However, it is so easy to get caught up in what we look like in the mirror, if we did or didn't get that workout in, or all those other things we wish we had.

So this weekend, instead of beating yourself up, practice being thankful for your health. Dwell on the fact that you are capable of wanting to live a better lifestyle.

Go take a walk and be thankful that you can.

I know I will.

A little bit of gratitude goes a long way in exercising happiness. And that's all we really want anyway.
