Workout Wednesday! (6-25-14)

It seemed like a lot of people really liked the Bodyweight Workout that I shared a few weeks ago, so here's another!

Warm-up: do 5-10 minutes of walking or easy cardio on the machine of your choice

Bodyweight Workout

20 Step-ups (10 each leg)

10 Triceps Push-ups

20 Goblet Squats

21 Y, T, W Fly's (7 each)

15 second Modified Boat Pose

30 second Jump Rope (or fake it)

<Complete 2 times>

Warm-up: Catch your breath before sitting down. Stretch all major muscle groups

Tips:

  • After you can do the fly's properly without added weight, you can add light dumbbells. If you don't have an exercise ball, lay off the end of a bench, couch, or your bed.
  • If this workout too easy, hold dumbbells while you do the step-ups and squats, do the boat pose and jump rope for longer, and/or complete the circuit three times. Rest as little as possible between sets.
  • If this is too difficult, complete the circuit just once and rest as much as needed between exercises.
